According to trend watchers, the ketogenic diet is on its way out. The main reason that’s cited is that most people do not reach true keto. However, we will be working with clients who are following or trying to follow the ketogenic diet for quite some time, as people are not trends. It seems like a good idea to discuss this from our profession’s perspective. Join me along with my guest Cathy Biase, RHN, CPCC. for Working With Clients On The KetogeniDiet.
I share the research, both pro and con. Cathy shares her experience in clinical practice working with cancer clients on the ketogenic diet.
To Obtain The Certificate for CEUs:
Once you have watched the video or listened to the podcast (necessary to be able to get certificate), complete the 3-question quiz to verify listening (the pdf slides can be helpful). The check mark will appear for the quiz when it’s been completed and the “Download Certificate” button will appear at the bottom of the quiz.
Note – In order to have your name and the date on the certificate: You need to click here to register as a user. Otherwise, it can downloaded without these. If you are already a user, then login here and click the Inspired Learning Hub Icon.
Hi Lorene, thank you so much for hosting such an informative event. I saw your beautiful cat 🐱
I can’t print the certificate. What do you suggest?
❤️Diane
Glad you enjoyed it. Just email me a screen shot of the quiz answers and I can do it manually. But before you do that, try using a different browser. Chrome usually works well.

Thanks Lorene, it was very helpful.
I’m glad you found it helpful.
Lorene Thank you very much for such a wonderful event. Informational, clarifying and very useful.
Hey Lorene,
Couldn’t you just add ferments to keto to get lacto’s?
You can but you are only getting certain strains. And the gut is more complex than that and you need a diversity of foods that feed many different strains.
Thanks for this Lorene! I see many early Keto promoters (Dave Asprey and Dr. Mercola) are now suggesting cyclical keto. Maybe it’s the best of both worlds.
Maybe. But I still favour a non-diet without a name that’s balanced for the individual.
